[Bug 103277] Re: ata2 2.6.20-13-generic ata2: port is slow to respond
I think I have found the solution (read it somewhere but forgot where). My laptop seems to have a Hitachi and it doesn't do complete NCQ. Some of their drives seem to be blacklisted, but I guess mine isn't (HTS541010G9AT00). To solve the problem add this line to your /etc/rc.local sh -c echo 1 /sys/block/sda/device/queue_depth This will disable NCQ. No it hasn't been resolved. It isn't as bad as before. [Bug 46416] Re: language pack does not contain translations of all programs
Maybe my problem is different but it could pinpoint to the solution. I went to system - admininstration - language support and selected dutch. When this was installed (and rebooted) all the packages used the correct language. Due to this I think the bug is that language support is installed partly. -- language pack does not contain translations of all programs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/46416 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
