[Bug 259789] [NEW] boost-dbg and boost-dbgsyms don't have the complete symbols
Public bug reported: Both the boost-dbg and boost-dbgsyms packages do not ship debug symbols for the boost libraries. This can make debugging problems with the system very hard. This patch enabled building debugging symbols which are then stored in the boost-dbg package (ready for use by the debugger when needed!). I assume the dbgsym package will also start working after this patch (but have no way to confirm it). ** Affects: boost (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- boost-dbg and boost-dbgsyms don't have the complete symbols https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259789 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 209457] Re: evolution-data-server gets stuck on a lock
This is a long outstanding bug in evolution and/or evolution data server. It's been around for atleast a year or two and nobody seems to be looking into it. It is intermitent and almost impossible to reproduce. As nobody else seems to be doing anything about it I thought I would try and get the developers more information. I'm trying to do my best when reporting the bugs, I will attach more information when I am in a position to try and do so. However, I'm afraid I don't have time to sit down and work out which packages (which are hundreds of mb's) need to be installed and then trying to get a proper backtrace. From what I understand, with this type of bug (the process getting stuck on a lock) a normal developer would want to investigate the lock and a core dump provides this ability. -- evolution-data-server gets stuck on a lock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209457 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 209457] Re: evolution-data-server gets stuck on a lock
Why are you not able to use the two core dump files to get this information? [Bug 136719] sqlalchemy reports (not installed) for version
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: python-sqlalchemy When you import sqlalchemy the __version__ attribute is filled with (not installed) instead of the installed version. In [1]: import sqlalchemy In [2]: sqlalchemy.__version__ Out[2]: '(not installed)' It appears that python-setuptools needs to be installed for the version field to be correctly filled. ** Affects: sqlalchemy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- sqlalchemy reports (not installed) for version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136719 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 72049] Re: Modules won't load under python-dbg
Then they shouldn't be in a path which the debug version of python finds them? You should instead be getting something like import testing Traceback (most recent call last): File stdin, line 1, in ? ImportError: No module named testing instead of the undefined symbol. None of the modules seem to have a debug version either? apt-get install python-ctypes-dbg returns no such package and I can't find anything similar on packages.ubuntu.com. -- Modules won't load under python-dbg https://launchpad.net/bugs/72049 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
