[Bug 1011446] Re: UML drawing tools' comment fields are too small to be usable
Issue confirmed on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. running dia through the command: LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 dia solves the issue. As a complete workaround, you can edit the desktop entry file : /usr/share/applications/dia.desktop Exec=env LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 dia %F -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1011446 Title: UML drawing tools' comment fields are too small to be usable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dia/+bug/1011446/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 820461] Re: graphical issues with nvidia Geforce4 ti4200
tested with Ubuntu natty if I boot the live session and wait for gdm starts, the only graphical display I have is white and black horizontal static lines. after a few seconds, the computer totally freezes. As soon as GDM is started, I must quickly switch to the first terminal (ALT+F1) before the computer freezes, now, i've the time to work, the computer will not freeze anymore. once here, i can create an xorg.conf file to properly restart gdm, here is the xorg.conf created file (from my remember, maybe I've made typo mistakes since I'm not near the computer anymore) : # --- /etc/X11/xorg.conf --- Section "Device" Identifier "card" Driver "nouveau" Option "NoAccell" EndSection Section "Monitor" Identifier "monitor" Option "DPMS" EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "screen" Device "card" Monitor "monitor" defaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "1280x1024" EndSubsection EndSection Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "serverlayout" Screen "screen" EndSection # --- END /etc/X11/xorg.conf --- once this file is created, i can kill all "X" existing session by a kill -9 and make a start gdm (don't know why the "stop gdm" command does not kill "X") now, I've a functionnal live session and I can install ubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/820461 Title: graphical issues with nvidia Geforce4 ti4200 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/820461/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 567776] [NEW] usb access regression
Public bug reported: Hello, I found some bugs concerning /proc/bus/usb whch have been closed whit won't fix, but I am on a real problem which cannot seems to have a workaround. description : I have a scanner (samsung clx2160) which fully worked on ubuntu 9.04 by using LInux Unified Driver and doing these simple manipulations: $ sudo mkdir -p /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs $ sudo usbfs "" /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs -obusmode=0700,devmode=0600,listmode=0644 $ sudo ln -s .usbfs/devices /dev/bus/usb/devices $ sudo mount --rbind /dev/bus/usb /proc/bus/usb On Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04b2 It doesn't work anymore. I've not found any workaround to access the scanner It is a complete regression and the only solution I could apply is a multiboot with Ubuntu 9.0 but It is really an ugly solution. I bought this multifonction printer because It fully worked on Linux and because It worked on Ubuntu. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: scanner usb usbfs -- usb access regression https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567776 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
