Also when i tried to scan image manually (scanimage -d smfp:libusb:003:002) segmentation fault occurs. [Bug 534230] [NEW] scanimage -L could not find samsung scanner
Public bug reported: I have samsung multifunction device (SCX 4521) and lsubs says, that samsung device is connected, but scanimage -L says, that no scanners found. I'm using Samsung Unified Driver (i have tried all versions, both the packages and downloaded directly from author's site) and author of this driver says, that it could be some problem with customized USB libraries in ubuntu 9.10 (same configuration works on debian). I have no idea what logs could i paste here, so pleas tell me. I have a like problem in Kubuntu Feisty Fawn in kde. When i plugged 2 usb flash memories i can eject the first one using the rigth click menu but when i try to do the same to the second usb device the rigth click menu doesn't show the function extract safely i have to use eject command in konsole to unplug it.
