[Bug 760574] Re: Incoming messages don't appear in Pidgin

2011-04-29 Thread n3ko
I can confirm the fix.
Copy the .so files from skype4pidgin.deb (#deb/CONTENTS/usr/lib/purple-2) to
/usr/lib/purple-2 and the plugin starts working again.

After a reboot (the new lines in 70-persistent-cd.rules are same as the
commented), i wrote 2 dvd (one dvd-rw, one dvd-r) without error.

So... don't realy now, what happend, but if you gets the same error, you

You can make the module option permanent with this:

echo options psmouse proto=imps |sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse

Later, when this bug is fixed, you can try to remove the
/etc/modprobe.d/psmouse file.

[Bug 157286] Re: System really slow like if no DMA from Edgy

2009-01-25 Thread n3ko
Attached the output of dmesg.
Sometimes dmesg mention somting else, like ,limiting speed to UDMA/66'.
I didnt care if UDMA/100 or 66 is used, but it didnt use eighter. It realy
slow, it seams there is no dma at all.
The same tasks (soffice writer, firefox) are noticable faster with ms xp (not
very fast, because of lack of memory, there are only 256M), which on other low
memory machine is slower then ubuntu.

** Attachment added: dmesg | grep -i 'sda\|ata\|UDMA'

[Bug 150193] Re: Remote Login via XDMCP is not working

2008-09-10 Thread n3ko
I had the same problem tonight. I googled, and found nothin'. It seemed
the problem serious. Tried to stace gdm and see, the connection start...

To be short: installed bind, and ... magic ... gdm works.
Googled some for find a way, to turn of authoritative reverse name lookups...
found nothin' :(

[Bug 150193] Re: Remote Login via XDMCP is not working

2008-09-10 Thread n3ko
sorry i forgot:
it was an up to date Hardy as server the clients:
 - another hardy with X -query and Xnest: both ok now.
 - debian 4.0 with X -query and Xvnc4: both ok now.
 - some Wyse thin client with a linux (unknown version) they are not working
yet.

the wyse clients not work with kdm eighter. They can connect and login to xdm,
but there is problem with keyboard configuration. (cant change us-hu)
the same clients with an older gdm on the debian works fine. (can connect,
login, the keyboard is ok).

it's realy a new bug?

[Bug 67146] Re: synaptic pinning/locking does not work

2007-03-06 Thread n3ko
I've installed the version from edgy-proposed. Now locking works for me. A
small issue: invoking Package/Lock from some search results it resets the
search criteria (or the window), i'd restart the search with selecting [search]
and [ok] again.
Force Version stil doesn't work. (prompts for version to force, and do
nothin')
