I got it to work by killing every process regarding empathy (mission- control, telepathy-*,empathy*), launching empathy-auth-client from the console and then launch empathy. [Bug 641073] Re: sound driver for hp dc7600 ultra slim not functioning in any linux version
That package made ubuntu lucid recognize the embedded audio card, no sound though; but doesn't work on Maverick Meerkat (I upgraded), it changes nothing. [Bug 641073] Re: sound driver for hp dc7600 ultra slim not functioning in any linux version
I have the same problem here. Lucid Lynx won't detect any HW device in its sound configuration. I won't post anything else as my HW is just the same as specified above.
