[Bug 402892] Re: Mouse cursor gets stuck in "drag and drop" mode
Another update: I've installed the Cinnamon desktop within Ubuntu 20.04 and used it for several days. Again the problem never appears, like in KDE. [Bug 402892] Re: Mouse cursor gets stuck in "drag and drop" mode
I confirm that Paul Müller's workaround works for me on Ubuntu 20.04. I need to read off the touchscreen ID from the output of "xinput". After that, I disable the touchscreen, and enable it again after I swipe gently on the screen. This usually makes the problem go away, without leaving the touchscreen disabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/402892 Title: Mouse cursor gets stuck in "drag and drop" mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/402892/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1873026] Re: File manager grabs favorites folders on left
I have the same problem in Ubuntu 20.04, and also 19.10 before upgrading. The problem occurs sporadically. I can confirm that the problem disappears after reboot, or if I just log out and log in again. When the problem occurs, it also triggers weird mouse behavior in a few other applications such as Zoom, so it seems to affect more than Nautilus bookmarks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1873026 Title: File manager grabs favorites folders on left To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1873026/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 363088] Re: Smart Pinyin input method is missing
I can confirm this bug. After I upgrading to Jaunty from Intrepid, Smart Pinyin disappeared from the SCIM menu. Also the Smart Pinyin module has disappeared IM Engine-Global Setup. Removing (purge) and reinstalling scim-pinyin does not help. However I have found a simple workaround: cd ~; rm -r .scim then logout and login again. Obviously the configuration in the home directory was messed up. But I have never tweaked the configuration files myself (other than using the SCIM setup GUI). So I think the Jaunty upgrade process messed up SCIM, although I have no idea why it would happen. On the Chinese Ubuntu Forum I've also seen a report of Smart Pinyin missing in SCIM, after upgrade KUBUNTU to Jaunty (The link is in Chinese): http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/viewtopic.php?f=38t=182934 So I am pretty sure there is something wrong with the upgrade process. ** Changed in: scim (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = New -- Smart Pinyin input method is missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'm using ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 with its proprietary fglrx driver. However, I reproduced the same bug in VirtualBox with the OpenSuSE KDE 4.1 livecd by following the above steps.
