I don't think this is nvidia-related. I have the same on Arch with Intel
card only.

[Bug 1352567] Re: [Asus AM1M-A] OOPS in cpufreq driver

2014-08-08 Thread post-factum
Updated kernel bugzilla bug with detailed information:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81701

Is that sufficient, or I should do something else? Should I CC
maintainers via bugzilla?

Also here is my lspci [2] and cpuinfo [3] as well.

Vanilla 3.15.8 and 3.16.0 are affected as well as latest Ubuntu 3.13
  kernel.

No visible reason to trigger the bug. After hang machine doesn't respond via
network, there's no disk IO, and also it doesn't respond to pressing power
button in order to perform soft off.

And here is kernel bugzilla bugreport [4].

[Bug 1352567] [NEW] OOPS in cpufreq driver with AMD Kaveri CPU

2014-08-04 Thread post-factum
Public bug reported:

Occasionally I get my machine hung completely. Fortunately, I've got and saved
oops listing using netconsole before hang, and here it is [1].

Unfortunately, latest 3.16 kernel doesn't fix the issue. I'm attaching
new photo of 3.16 kernel panic.

[Bug 1333913] Re: Kernel panics on br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge with atl1c driver

2014-06-24 Thread post-factum
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected

** Description changed:

I'm building custom router based on Ubuntu Server. With bridging/routing
enabled I've encountered kernel panic (several times in row with neither
visible reason nor specific timings) in br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge
  with atl1c driver loaded.

The bridge br0 consists of 1 port (eth0), which is the following network
  card:

05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit
  Ethernet (rev c0)

It is driven by atl1c module. The network behind this card is NAT'ed.

Kernel panic photo and lspci output are attached to this report. With
different network card everything works OK.

[Bug 1333913] [NEW] Kernel panics on br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge with atl1c driver

2014-06-24 Thread post-factum
Public bug reported:

Extra info:

pf@asgard:~$ uname -a
