[Bug 247171] Re: On reboot ubuntu 8.04 getting stuck
Well, I think you gave you a little wrong information. On reboot, it actually closes all programs and then the ubuntu logo with the progress bar comes up before shutting down. The progress bar moves to the right and when it reaches the end , it gets stuck. So its getting stuck even before shutting down completely. But this only happens on using the reboot. -- On reboot ubuntu 8.04 getting stuck https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/247171 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 247171] Re: On reboot ubuntu 8.04 getting stuck
It started if I am right couple of days back. I installed ubuntu 8.04 in a new dell 330 Desktop machine. Before doing any updates, I dont think there was a problem with the reboot. Then I installed the updates using the update manager.
