[Bug 769995] [NEW] Wi-Fi looses connection with hidden wireless networks

2011-04-24 Thread retimer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

I'm using hidden wireless network on my DIR-320 router and connecting to
it from Asus K50IN. The connection establishes fine, but after some time
(from 10 to 30 minutes) wlan adapter looses network. NM displays that
i'm connected and wlan0 still has the same IP, but i can't connect even
to the router. Stoping and starting the connection fixes the problem for
a while...

[Bug 561738] Re: nForce2_smbus. Error probing SMB2. Sometimes boot crash

2010-04-16 Thread retimer
Almost the same problem with Lucid Beta 2 and kernel updated to 2.6.32-21.
Error messages:
cat /var/log/dmesg | grep nForce
[0.351578] cpufreq-nforce2: No nForce2 chipset.
[ 15.016439] i2c i2c-0: nForce2 SMBus adapter at 0x4d00

region SM00 [0x4e00-0x4e3f]
[ 15.016450] nForce2_smbus :00:03.2: Error probing SMB2.
It does not seem to cause problems in work? but makes boot process twice longer/
