[Bug 714909] Re: compiz wobly windows plugin causes maximized windows to shiver when focused
This is still an issue in 16.04.1 LTS. When a maximized window is focused or defocused, it "shivers" (although this is apparently not related to the shiver option. It occurs on windows that are maximized horizontally, windows that are maximized vertically, and windows that are maximized both horizontally and vertically. Like described above, disabling "Maximize Effect" stops this behavior. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/714909 Title: compiz wobly windows plugin causes maximized windows to shiver when focused To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/714909/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1573454] Re: Mouse pointer disappear after suspend in Xubuntu 16.04
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1568604 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568604 I see the same problem when I lock my screen (or it goes to sleep) and then wakes back up. I don't suspend the laptop, it's just when the screen blanks. The same fix of switching to a virtual terminal and then back to X works for me. And like others, I've got an Intel video card: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Broadwell-U Integrated Graphics (rev 09) The laptop is a Dell, however, so my guess is this is a bug that's been in the Intel video driver for a while since I'm seeing it on 14.04. I'm running trusty (14.04.5 LTS) but the driver I have appears to be from xenial (not sure how that happened): xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-xenial 2:2.99.917+git20160325-1ubuntu1~trusty1 amd64 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1573454 Title: Mouse pointer disappear after suspend in Xubuntu 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1573454/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1571115] Re: wifi dropped and failed to connect
The issue started a day after I upgraded the packages on my system, and has been captured by syslog 38 times since then. There wasn't a new kernel installed at the time, but something triggered the building of a new initrd.img. I'm going to upload the dpkg.log that outlines what packages were installed and I'll try out a new kernel as well. ** Attachment added: "dpkg.log showing packages upgraded just prior to this issue" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1571115/+attachment/4639390/+files/dpkg.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1571115 Title: wifi dropped and failed to connect To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1571115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1437394] Re: X freezes for unknown reason
I will update to the enablement stack. Since it's not something I can reproduce at will, I'll just wait and see if it happens again. It hasn't occurred in perhaps the last two weeks so I'm wondering if an update in the normal list of updates didn't fix it. [Bug 1437394] Re: X freezes for unknown reason
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Every once in a while, X will just completely freeze. It happens at seemingly random times and is not related to any one thing I'm doing. I can go to another machine and ssh in and kill X to recover. But X itself is locked up. The only thing that works is the mouse cursor which I can move around at will. But the UI doesn't react or change at all. I can't raise or lower windows, the seconds on my clock applet to increment, the graphs in applets and in gkrellm are frozen. [Bug 799112] Re: xterm window keeps moving on maximizing
I'm experiencing this same issue and the video attached by Ramkumar shows it perfectly. It seems limited to xterm (all the other applications I've tried, including gnome-terminal behave normally). I'm also running 11.04 on 2.6.38-8-generic, however, I'm on x86 running legacy Gnome with an nvidia 4200M/PCI/SSE2 (275.19). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799112 Title: xterm window keeps moving on maximizing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/799112/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 799112] Re: xterm window keeps moving on maximizing
P.S. I also have wobbly windows enabled in Compiz. This is exactly the behavior I have experienced and it is just as reproducible as described in comment #21 (nice job). [Bug 405296] [NEW] address completion adds erroneous comma
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Address completion in the to field adds erroneous comma in middle email address effectively breaking it into two. Seems to be limited to local address book (cannot recreate using LDAP as source). Steps to produce: 1. Click New button in tool bar to open Compose Message. 2. Type first few letters of recipient, use tab key to move to next field once address completion fills in to field. 3. Address previously shown in complete form now has comma followed by space breaking address into two parts. For example, address Shmoe, Joe Joe,sh...@foo.org becomes one of the following Shmoe, Joe Joe., sh...@foo.org Shmoe, Joe Joe.Shm, o...@foo.org and address Billy Bob bi...@foo.org becomes Billy Bob bi...@f, oo.org It happens consistently the first time address completion is allowed to run on a newly created message. If you delete the poorly formed address and let auto completion run again (without closing the compose window), it works as expected. Kubuntu 9.04 Evolution 2.26.1 (2.26.1-0ubuntu2) Thanks in advance for looking into this. [Bug 300637] Re: autofill problem evolution enter breaks address
I stand corrected. In bug report 405296 (dup of this one), I stated that the problem seemed limited to local address book and could not recreate it on LDAP sourced addresses. That is not accurate, I can recreate it using LDAP it just happens far less frequently (for some reason) so it requires multiple attempts before it happens. -- autofill problem evolution enter breaks address https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300637 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
