[Bug 1909968] [NEW] Print job fails when selecting black ink Canon MP990
Public bug reported: Print job fails when selecting black ink on a Canon MP990 using options of Color Model: Grayscale (from default of RGB Color) and/or Ink Type: Black (from default of CMYK color). Using Version: 5.3.3-4 on Lubuntu 20.04 (LXQT) uname -r : 5.4.0-58-generic The issue occurs when connected as a USB direct URI or as a LDP configuration using a wifi connection. /var/log/cups/error_log shows no errors. Re: [Bug 1633943] Re: No Wifi Resuming After Suspend
Yes there was no problem with my initial 16.04 installation. It did start after one of the kernel updates but I cannot tell you which one. I have just done a kernel update to uname -r : 4.4.0-45-generic with the same result. See attached screenshot of ifconfig and iwconfig. Previous kernel 4.4.0-43-generic exhibited the same behaviour. I will try the mainline kernel and advise back again. Thanks On 20/10/16 05:25, Joseph Salisbury wrote: > Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? [Bug 478379] Re: Ubuntu does not work with rtl2832u-dvb-t-chip
rtl2832u is still a problem on older kernels. Works fine otb for 3.11 e.g on Ubuntu 13.10 but I am trying to get this module compiled for any kernel that will work on sun4i i.e. armv7 such as 3.10.25 which is good on raspberry pi. The source files for the module are not available on kernel 3.4 at sunxi and neither 3.10-reference nor experimental/sunxi-3.10 will boot. Is 3.13 from Hans de Goede likely to be a better prospect? [Bug 1094218] Re: lsb_release crashed with IOError in getstatusoutput(): [Errno 10] No child processes (called by teamviewerd)
I also have the current version 8.0.17147 and find that the error occurs on a cold boot but not on a reboot. Part of the puzzle? [Bug 727434] Re: Firefox icon missing in lxpanel
While fixing the symlink worked ok for version 9.0.1, the icon was (as expected) lost again when version 10.0 installed but the same trick with the symlink did not fix this time. [Bug 727434] Re: Firefox icon missing in lxpanel
Can this be re-opened? I have this problem in Mint 9 LXDE with uname 2.6.32-35-generic, lxpanel 0.5.5, PCManFM 0.9.5. FF is version 9.0.1 (but this became an issue with versions after 6.0 )and theme is Shiki-Wise-LXDE. I have confirmed I have a valid icon file in /usr/share/pixmaps that is correctly named firefox.png and the firefox.desktop file contains Icon=firefox. I have tried a remove and re-install with same result. I get a generic black rectangle icon. Thanks for any help with this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727434 Title: Firefox icon missing in lxpanel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/727434/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 727434] Re: Firefox icon missing in lxpanel
I think the problem may lie with the symlink. ls -la /usr/share/pixmaps/f* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 44 2012-01-11 22:54 /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png - ../../lib/firefox-9.0.1/icons/mozicon128.png Does not seem to correctly map to /usr/lib/firefox-9.0.1/icons so the link probably just needs to be rebuilt. The question is why do I need to do it? Where does the install script go wrong? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727434 Title: Firefox icon missing in lxpanel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/727434/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 414389] Re: Firefox 3.5.2 freezes when accessing the Java plug-in
Micah Gersten wrote: Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one. You can start the profile manager with the following command: firefox-3.5 -ProfileManager Hello Micah Thanks for your reply. I think this bug was raised on version 3.5.0 or so. After subsequent releases this problem has been resolved although sometimes I think that java is a little buggy but is getting better with each update. So this bug report could maybe be closed now.
