[Bug 399573] Re: ecafe ec-900 Fn+vol Keys render System useless
Hi there, I've used appport to upload info about my system. In a hindsight it was probably too much information. Sorry about that. Dmesg is in apport report and I've attached the other two as requested. There is absolutely no info or warning message in any of the logs when it happens, so it's difficult to be more specific as I can't tell where exactly it happens. Probably need to enable some debugging in X or acpi(?) and press the buttons to collect more information. [Bug 471742] [NEW] [Hercules EC-900] late resume failure
Public bug reported: This happened after hibernating the system using kernel. It's actually an improvement in comparison to jaunty kernels as they simply died when hibernating. This one seems like it worked, but during boot swapon said something about swap containing hibernated image and system then booted normally. I was using uswsusp (configured in /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module, which worked OK. However I wanted to know if the new kernel on karmic works better. Looks like it doesn't :-). ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous hibernate and prevented it from resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have appeared to have completed normally. [Bug 102947] Re: ERR: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No such file or directory
Hi there, This is just to confirm that this is still happening in 9.04. It's purely maildrop issue, fetchmail has nothing to do with it. You can test it by calling: maildrop -d It will issue the error message. Looks like maildrop was compiled to be a part of courier. As mentioned above Courier-authlib is installed, but not running. Nevertheless the email is still delivered. So, it can be probably ignored or if it annoys you, change fetchmail to use procmail instead... -- ERR: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No such file or directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102947 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
