[Bug 1768607] Re: weex does not support SSL anymore, is not build againt libssl as in artful

2018-06-06 Thread ruedihofer
I confirm this bug.

As a workaround, I installed the old version from artful
https://packages.ubuntu.com/artful/amd64/weex/download.

I had kdelibs4c2a-4:3.5.10 installed because I was still using kbiff. I
have now moved to gnubiff, which works well under kde 4.10. Since kbiff
isn't supported anymore I suggest to all to use gnubiff instead.

[Bug 831768] Re: aptitude cannot handle conflicts with multiarch enabled

2011-10-23 Thread ruedihofer
Dear all, same problem here. After oneiric upgrade, aptitude shows multiple
duplicate entries, one of them being libc6. Both of these libc6 are marked as
installed. When I mark one of the entries to be purged, it deletes about 1300
other packeages. When I try the other entry, about 475 packages are deleted.

[Bug 367264] [NEW] Firefox crash because of RenderBadPicture

2009-04-26 Thread ruedihofer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I'v submitted Bug #366386: which was duplicate of #220628. IMHO, this one is
different since it says 'RenderBadPicture'...

Kubuntu intrepid, kde 4.2.2, FF 3.0.9 with empty profile!

ho...@rudix:~/.mozilla$ firefox --sync
QPixmap: Invalid pixmap parameters
The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 3215081 error_code 179 request_code 155 minor_code 7)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

[Bug 366386] [NEW] Firefox crash because of invalid pixmap parameters

2009-04-24 Thread ruedihofer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Kubuntu intrepid, kde 4.2.2, FF 3.0.8

After trying to install firebug addon, just when the confirmation window
pops up, firefox crashes with this dump...

ho...@rudix:~/doc$ firefox --sync
QPixmap: Invalid pixmap parameters
The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 114349 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Locking assertion failure. Backtrace:
