[Bug 947546] [NEW] USB images created by startup-disk creater on fail on self-test
Public bug reported: Screenshot is here: http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/screenshot-050312-215149.php I've tested this with a range of USB storage devices. I can re-create this bug every time: 1. Obtain image (e.g. Ubuntu 11.10 32bit) 2. Launch startup disk creator from Unity 3. Select USB device disk and allow the disk to be created 4. When asked if I want to test the disk say Yes. 5. Qemu does not recognize the disk as being bootable (same with other devices, e.g. laptop) Release:11.10 ( 64bit) I'm using the very latest version of this package right now from the standard software repositories. ** Affects: usb-creator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/947546 Title: USB images created by startup-disk creater on fail on self-test To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/947546/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 886888] Re: ushare crashes glibc malloc
I've determined that this fault only occurs when DLNA is set to yes. [Bug 428476] Re: xsane crashes after aquire preview
I just tried this with a whole range of scanners on Karmic x64 - I can confirm that the bug does not depend at all on what kind of scanner you use. Is there any chance that the Ubuntu developers will fix this? At work we need to scan. [Bug 309830] Re: Firefox is looping opening tabs when trying to open .wml file
I just got this with an RSS file, the issue only occurrs when Firefox is told to open the file with firefox. The file is loaded, it starts a new tab to view the file which loads the file and then starts a new tab... The work-around is to go to Preferences/Applications and search for rss (or whatever your file-type was) Change the action for that file-type from Use-Firefox to something else. Of course this still is a bug - as far as RSS goes, it's an XML document so it should be possible to display it as we might any XML document.
