[Bug 1582496] Re: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL failures during Ubuntu 16.04 bootup

2017-05-10 Thread sameer bahadur
Adding more info - System Ubuntu Xenial 16.04.2 4.4.0-72-generic. using
gdm3 and Unity session. It appears the cause of the failure reported in
syslog is not clear and not related to 'df' command failure; except that
the history in syslog showed GLib-GObject-CRITICAL errors, with no other
erroneous application level observation prior to df failure.

[Bug 1582496] Re: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL failures during Ubuntu 16.04 bootup

2017-05-10 Thread sameer bahadur
Observed these errors when I was trying "df " to
check the status. It was working for some time earlier. Now when I issue
the command it hangs. sudo kill -9 not able to kill the df process.
somehow closing the bash terminal forcefully kills it sometimes.
subsequent df also hang. Reboot is necessary.
Although I could issue panel reboot, but eventually it was taking so
long i went ahead with reboot button press.
