[Bug 1416557] Re: [Acer Aspire V5-573G] suspend/resume failure

2015-09-13 Thread Sandeep Kumar
the temp fix by Maxim is working for me

Thanks a lot Maxim for suggestion!

I updated /etc/default/grup and added acpi_osi=\"!Windows 2013\" after
the last parameter. Did an update-grub, rebooted and is working fine.

[Bug 408417] Re: No option to log in remotely via XDMCP

2010-04-08 Thread Sandeep Kumar
solution by ghook worked for me.

He suggests:

I was able to use Xming to establish a remote XDMCP session to a Karmic box. I
just added the following lines to the \etc\gdm\custom.conf file:

[daemon]
RemoteGreeter=/usr/lib/gdm/gdmlogin

[xdmcp]
Enable=true

happens to be a required feature for me.

[Bug 552830] [NEW] Software UltraEdit whose price is free is asking for $39.95 + taxes

2010-03-31 Thread Sandeep Kumar
Public bug reported:

Hi,
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates installed. I am attaching my
sources.list at the bottom.

I tried to install an editor from
Applications - Ubuntu Software Center - Get Free Software - Programming -
UltraEdit

Summary of the application says that its price is free. However when I
run it it asks for a $39.95 purchase.

Please update the summary with its price so that one can get the actual
price before installing OR remove UltraEdit from the list.

Kindly let me know in case of more info about this incidence.

Regards,
Sandeep
