[Bug 385102] Re: Desktop is exposed from under screen lock after an Update Manager popup
Just happened to me today. [Bug 292431] Re: lastfmproxy: no module named config
Seems to be related to permissions of config.py link. I've copied /var/lib/lastfmproxy to my home directory, replaced config.py symlink with a copy of /etc/lastfmproxy/config.py and it runs fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292431 Title: lastfmproxy: no module named config -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 366828] Re: After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken
I'm not using xfce for a while now but as far as I remember there are two places in xfce configuration where you can define keyboard shortcuts: in 'keyboard settings' that can be accessed either from menu-settings-keyboard settings or menu-settings-all settings in window manager settings Try to add shortcut that is mentioned in one of previous posts: Alt+KP_2 and just run some application as an action. Sorry but I don't remember that well what the exact problem was. -- After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366828 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 366828] Re: After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken
Thanks Kay, removing multiple occurrences of same value made window manager shortcuts work. Although I still cannot use shortcuts like Alt+KP_2 (strangely this works if I change it to use numpad down arrow and switch numlock off) -- After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366828 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 366828] Re: After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken
I have very similar problem, not sure if bug is the same. Xfce keyboard shortcuts that use numpad don't work. (same command works if shortcut doesn't use numpad) Xfce window manager keyboard shortcuts only work after I reconfigure it (with the same value). After reboot they don't work again. I have gnome, xfce and kde installed. Originally installed version is 7.10, the bug occured after I switched from 8.10 to 9.04. -- After a 8.10 - 9.04 upgrade, keyboard shortcuts are broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366828 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 52719] Re: All applications are slow to launch on Dapper
I can confirm the same behaviour in Dapper on Dell Latitude C840, P4 2.4, Intel 845 chipset and Fujitsu MHT2060AT hard disk. Hard disk access subsystem is very slow with both -386 and -686 kernels. `hdparm -tT /dev/hda` reports 3MB/s on average (DMA is on), but fluctuates quite a bit, down to hundreds of kilobytes/s. The same laptop performs well with Debian (Linux 2.6.8) and Knoppix (Linux 2.6.12), i.e. hdparm reports 25MB/s consistently with DMA on. -- All applications are slow to launch on Dapper https://launchpad.net/bugs/52719 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
