[Bug 680441] Re: package brother-lpr-drivers-laser (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: Versuche, »/usr/bin/brprintconfiglpr2« zu überschreiben, welches auch in Paket brmfc7320lpr 0:2.0.2-1 ist

2014-08-30 Thread schneibva
Workaround: uninstall all other drivers for Brother printer/mfc and install
only
- brother-lpr-drivers-common
- brother-cups-wrapper-common
- the driver for your printer/mfc from the Brother-homepage, e.g.
   --- cupswrappermfc7320:i386
   --- brmfc7320lpr:i386

[Bug 1332951] [NEW] bug in vinagre fullscreen mode

2014-06-22 Thread schneibva
Public bug reported:

In 12.04 using vinagre fullscreen mode, the top menu appears, when you
move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen, there is a small white
line to indicate, where the top menu is.

In 14.04 nothing happens in this case and there is no indicator of the
top menu.

I tested it with a Netbook Samsung NC 10 plus and a Desktop with Asrock
960GM/U3S3 (integrated AMD Radeon 3000 graphics).

** Affects: vinagre (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

+ top menu. This means, you cannot come back to normal screen mode.

I tested it with a Netbook Samsung NC 10 plus and a Desktop with Asrock
960GM/U3S3 (integrated AMD Radeon 3000 graphics).

[Bug 333947] [NEW] ubuntu 8.10 no driver for via unichrome vn800

2009-02-24 Thread schneibva
Public bug reported:

ubuntu 8.10

the unichrome driver doesn't run on vn800 via unichrome graphic with
1280x800 resolution.

when booting, 1600x1200 is selected which makes no sense, because the
resolution of the screen (notebook) is 1280x800.

if i select 1280x800 or 1280x768 or 1024x768 or 800x600 resolution, the
screen becomes unreadable.

modification of /etc/X11/xorg.conf leads to a crash when starting the
system.
