[Bug 1975494] [NEW] nvidia module cant load with 5.13.0-41-generic

2022-05-23 Thread schoubi
Public bug reported:

Hi,

My system is working fine with 5.13.0-40-generic kernel and nvidia-
driver-510...

Switching to 5.13.0-41 is messing something up...

Black screen after grub.

No graphic at all (black screen).

Further investigation show problems with the nvidia module :

--
nvidia :01:00.0: vgaarb: changed VGA decodes:
olddecodes=none,decodes=none:owns=none
NVRM: The NVIDIA GPU :01:00.0
NVRM: (PCI ID: 10de:1cb3) installed in this system has
NVRM: fallen off the bus and is not responding to commands.
nvidia: probe of :01:00.0 failed with error -1
NVRM: The NVIDIA probe routine failed for 1 device(s).
NVRM: None of the NVIDIA devices were initialized.
nvidia-nvlink: Unregistered the Nvlink Core, major device number 507
--

modules nvidia-* are present and installed :

--
dkms status
nvidia, 510.73.05, 5.13.0-40-generic, x86_64: installed
nvidia, 510.73.05, 5.13.0-41-generic, x86_64: installed
--

but they can't be modprobed :

---
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'nvidia': No such device
---

Reboot on the 5.13.0-40-generic solve the problem.

We are numerous users here to have the same behaviour...

[Bug 1104476] Re: Network manager cannot connect to WPA2/PEAP/MSCHAPv2 network without CA_Certificate

2013-07-03 Thread schoubi
I'm affected too.

13.04 + eduroam (WPA2/PEAP/MSCHAPv2/self signed certificate)

The workaround, as pointed by #19 and #23 : suppress the system-ca-
cert=true (or make it false) from the network-manager profile.

That's works.

Seems that the «Ignore» button when cert alert is displayed was
just.ignored

[Bug 345957] Re: iscsid is looking for targets prior to network being available

2009-04-02 Thread schoubi
Hi,

I can confirm the same issue in ubuntu-server intrepid

mv /etc/rcS.d/S25open-iscsi /etc/rcS.d/S50open-iscsi do the trick

[Bug 334447] [NEW] wrong default hvm bootloader path for xen

2009-02-25 Thread schoubi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virt-manager

Create a DomU with virt-manager ends with :

Unable to complete install 'class 'libvirt.libvirtError'

In the log virt-manager wants to use /usr/lib/xen-default/hvmbootload as
a bootloader :

'loader': '/usr/lib/xen-default/boot/hvmloader'

but the real path is /usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader

make a symbolic link do the trick :

cd /usr/lib/
ln -s xen xen-default
