[Bug 1468569] [NEW] Most keyboard shortcuts do not work on ubuntu gnome 15.04 after a few hours.

2015-06-24 Thread senyorita
Public bug reported:

Several hours after booting ubuntu gnome 15.04, most keyboard shortcuts
including Win+L, Ctrl+Alt+T, and media keys do not work.
I don't know why it happens, but restarting gnome-settings-daemon fixes the
issue temporarily.
Restarting gnome-shell by Alt+F2, r, enter may fix it temporarily, too, but I
haven't tested it.

Installed packages

gnome-settings-daemon : 3.14.2-3ubuntu1

** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

** Package changed: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) = gnome-settings-
daemon (Ubuntu)

2013-09-30 Thread senyorita
Public bug reported:

With VertTwoFingerScroll=1 and HorizTwoFingerScroll=1 and TapButton2=3,
two finger tap doesn't do right click about 3 out of 5 times.

three finger tap is not affected with two finger scroll.

[Bug 1156327] Re: Unity shown over fullscreen VLC video

2013-09-14 Thread senyorita
This issue occurs with smplayer, VLC, and totem.

I found a workaround for this issue.

1) Install and execute CompizConfig Settings Manager(execute ccsm on the
shell)
2) Visit generalcompositing and remove !(class=Vlc) from unredirect match to
solve the issue for VLC only
Or set unredirect match to (all) to solve the issue for every application.

[Bug 586848] [NEW] gedit just exits when I try to open a zero byte(empty) file.

2010-05-28 Thread senyorita
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

gedit just exits when I try to open a zero byte(empty) file.
It's a serious bug.
It happens when I put UHC first in
/apps/gedit-2/preferences/encodings/auto_detected.
It doesn't happen when I put UTF8 the first in it.

The below is what happens if I type gedit filename, where filename is a file
that doesn't contain a single letter.
It's not a non-existent file, but a file that doesn't contain anything in it.

[Bug 378773] Re: Built-in Keyboard dont work in LG e300 after wubi fresh install

2010-05-08 Thread senyorita
This is still bloody true. Every linux kernel refuses to recognize LG
E300 laptop built-in keyboard unless dumbkbd option is put in kernel
boot parameter. If dumbkbd option is set, then Caps Lock and Num Lock
LEDS don't work at all It's a cause of headache.

[Bug 86642] Re: usplash on ubuntu 6.10 amd64 doesn't display 1024x768 theme.

2007-02-21 Thread senyorita
** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: usplash
+
+ I use ubuntu 6.10 on amd64

  /etc/usplash.conf contains xres=1024 yres=768.
And /boot/grub/menu.lst contains vga=791 for the 1024x768 framebuffer.

But usplash only displays the lowest resolution of the themes.
In my case, it is 800x600.

I downloaded the source code of the theme and forced it to set the first
resolution as 1024x768.
And I copied it to /usr/lib/usplash and set it as the current theme.
  It could display 1024x768.

But not every theme has source codes, and I think it is not a normal way to
change resolution.
A nomal way must be to change /etc/usplash.conf and /boot/grub/menu.lst not
the theme's source codes.

How can I make usplash display the 1024x768 resolution of themes?
