[Bug 378293] [NEW] tun0: Disabled Privacy Extensions

2009-05-19 Thread sha8e
Public bug reported:

I am using the Network Manager to connect to make a VPN connection to my
office's OpenVPN server. When I connect from windows there is no problem
at all, but when I connect from Ubuntu Linux 9.04, I get this messages
in the /var/log/messages:

May 19 12:56:09 hostname kernel: [506655.897750] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions
May 19 13:03:19 hostname kernel: [507086.223199] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions
May 19 13:04:30 hostname kernel: [507157.266782] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions
May 19 13:06:36 hostname kernel: [507282.774215] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions
May 19 13:07:58 hostname kernel: [507364.996164] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions
May 19 13:12:15 hostname kernel: [507622.369771] tun0: Disabled Privacy
Extensions

How can I solve this problem? And shall it effect the privacy of my data
traveling through the tunnel?

Thanks in advance guys.
