[Bug 1550090] Re: linux-image-3.19.0-51-generic fails to boot to desktop under VMWare Player

2016-02-26 Thread sib
I have the same problem on Vmware Player 12 and Vmware Workstation 11.
Fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10 downloaded yesterday, first pack of
updates(suggested from update manager) and then with first reboot it fails to
load, showing only the white cursor.

[Bug 239952] Re: firefox - the associated helper application does not exist

2010-09-01 Thread SiB
Mikael Strom: I agree with you.
In https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455626 you can read:

@Nicolò Chieffo: Just to inform you, with firefox 4 beta this error vanished.
@Ginn Chen: Bug 327323 might be the fix, at lease it fixed Bug 464443.

Then I thinking we must wait for official FF4 to resolve this case.

[Bug 576854] Re: PDF Docs not open after downloading it with Document viewer.

2010-05-08 Thread SiB
Hello,

I do small research for this.
I can reproduce this bug only from one webpage, it's intranet portal of my
company. Other person download this files without any error from
Windows(different browsers). Only I use linux and have this error but only in
FF, other browser works me ok.

After I see this error I put as URL /tmp path [file:///tmp/] and the
same PDF now works properly.

I can open any pdf documents what I find in google search.

Unfortunately, I see PDF documents listed in Edit Preferences Applications
on my system, so I cannot confirm that part of the bug at this point.
I cannot see PDF document in Edit Preferences Applications even if I run
Ubuntu from LiveCD! or on my current installed Ubuntu.

I put same screenshot to: http://pokazywarka.pl/bug576854/

Uff. I wish this description helps you to understand my problem.
