[Bug 1173670] [NEW] Network-manager doesn't start up randomly
Public bug reported: I've updated to Ubuntu 13.04 yesterday and since the update (wich otherwise went flawlesly) I am having problems with Network-manager randomly not starting up. When I turn on my computer, the network indicator sometimes shows up, then hides, and shows up again, all very randomly, sometimes it just stays there, but the menu list is gone and no connection is established. The weird thing is that once in about every 1/4 startups the network-manager starts up normaly and my internet connection works perfectly unitl I reboot again. I could not figure out the cause of the problem, but I am pretty sure it is not driver related, since I succesfully tried to reproduce the problem with kernel 3.2 and 3.5. This behaviour started occuring yesterday when I updated to Ubuntu 13.04, before it worked like a charm, so I believe the problem lies with either Ubuntu or Network-manager. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1173670 Title: Network-manager doesn't start up randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1173670/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
