[Bug 105623] Re: udev rules missing from udeb
I am encountering this bug as well while installing 8.0.4.2 on VMware ESXi 3.5 update 5 while using guided LVM. I am downloading 8.0.4.3 but I expect that I will have the same problem. [Bug 208068] Re: plays midi, but complains about missing codec afterwards
I have Rythmbox set to scan my music DIR, in there I have a MP3 and MIDI subdir. When I open Rythembox it asks me to search for a suitable codec to play them. It then has import errors on the left hand pane and in there are all the .mid files. When I double click any of them to play it does not play anything. I have the wildmidi library installed (not the player). I have not tried the freepats fix you suggest however I can later, so currently midi does not work in Rythmbox. -- plays midi, but complains about missing codec afterwards https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208068 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 229440] [NEW] Drop down menus on gnome panel broken after Hardy upgrade
Public bug reported: Upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy and after logging in none of the menus on the gnome panel work. When I click Applications, Places, or System they highlight but no drop down appears. If I launch Firefox from the terminal it will open but the menus in there do not work either for file, edit, view, etc. It seems to be a global drop down menu problem but I don't know specifically which package is causing the issue. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Drop down menus on gnome panel broken after Hardy upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
