[Bug 391241] Re: closing error dialog (System.IndexOutOfRangeException) closes banshee

2009-09-19 Thread Softwarejonas
I encounter the same behavior. It seems to happen every time when a
notification pops up (song change).
My error message:

I can confirm the bug with the ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV250
[Mobility FireGL 9000] (rev 02) - Graphics Card.

The Xorg.log for the first display says:
(II) RADEON(0): [dri] Visual configs initialized

Second one:
(EE) RADEON(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.

[Bug 303491] Re: Few Sound in Thinkpad T40

2009-02-17 Thread softwarejonas
Thinkpad T40, same audio hardware and configuration, works fine on hardy (fresh
installed), intrepid (upgraded) and jaundy (upgraded).
could also be a acpi-button misconfiguration...

[Bug 323977] [NEW] bigger font size causes infopane messages to be cut off

2009-02-01 Thread softwarejonas
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 (development branch), but the bug was already
existent in Intrepid (stable); Pidgin version 2.5.30-ubuntu2.

I increased the font size of Ubuntu under System Preferences Appearance -
Fonts from size 10 up to font size 12.
My fonts now are:
Application font: Segoe UI 12
Document font: Segoe UI 10
Desktop font: Segoe UI 11
Window title font: Segoe UI bold 11
Fixed width font: Monospace 10
Rendering: Subpixel smoothing (LCDs)

I expected the info pane with the status messages to expand vertically to fit
the font size,
but instead the friends status messages in the messaging windows are vertically
cut off now.
That makes status messages unreadable.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)

[Bug 324164] [NEW] zoom doesn't smooth pictures

2009-02-01 Thread softwarejonas
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am using Ubuntu 9.04, but the bug was already consistent in earlier
versions. I am also using Firefox version. 3.0.5.

If you use the zoom feature of Firefox to zoom into web pages and you also zoom
into the pictures, they become pixelated. You can see every single pixel
because Firefox doesn't smooth the pictures when zooming.
But: Firefox smooths the pictures when you use the drag-and-drop feature.
During the drag, either Firefox or Gnome smooths the pictures.

Since this behavior is strange and not how I expect it to work, I think
it is a bug.

A about:config option to define the smoothing method would be helpful
and appropriate for all (even slower) systems.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: firefox-3.0 3.0.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 SHELL=/bin/bash

SourcePackage: firefox-3.0
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-6-generic i686
