[Bug 1292113] Re: CTRL+ALT+T - shortcut to open Terminal is does not work
Same issue. Suddently there is no response to CTRL+ALT+t . Occurs a few times a week. CTRL + ALT + F1-12 is working. Restarting solves the issue. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: phatch As the main Phatch developers are Ubuntu users, we worked hard to have a bugfix-only release for Ubuntu Lucid, as there are some serious issues with Phatch 0.2.6 For example: - https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/525999 (see also duplicate https://bugs.launchpad.net/phatch/+bug/469701) We also tested Phatch both on Karmic and on Lucid. [Bug 497594] Re: performance: check for existing files *before* doing the processing on a picture
@Ken That is what I had in mind with 2. Some minor changes: - I would store the session information in Phatchs user cache folder - The session info should always be cleared if: - The whole batch process is done - The user does not resume a previous session - The UI could be implemented like this if session info is present: 1) Add dynamically a 'Resume previous session' checkbox to the execute dialog box, which is checked by default 2) Same as above, but leave it unchecked by default 3) After batch in the execute dialog box is pressed, show a separate 'Do you want to resume previous session?' YES-NO dialog @Ken, Jean-François Fortin Tam: Which of the 3 UI solutions above do you prefer? ** Changed in: phatch Assignee: stani (stani) => Ken Seehart (kenseehart) ** Changed in: phatch (Ubuntu) Assignee: stani (stani) => Ken Seehart (kenseehart) ** Changed in: phatch Milestone: None => 0.2.7 -- performance: check for existing files *before* doing the processing on a picture https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 497594] Re: performance: check for existing files *before* doing the processing on a picture
These are two different issues: 1) check for existing files *before* doing the processing on a picture 2) Resuming a session with (thousand) images 2 could be much more easy to fix. We could provide a "Tools>Resume Session" entry. This invokes a GUI where you can choose from previous unfinished sessions and have an overview of finished and unfinished images. 1 will be very hard if not impossible under certain conditions. It would only be possible if Phatch could ignore variable changes in the save action. For example if Phatch uses an imagemagick action it is impossible to know the new image dimensions, but also for autocrop etc ... As ignoring variable changes will lead to incorrect results and possibly harm the reputation of Phatch, I don't feel it is worth the effort. [Bug 452430] Re: Please sync phatch 0.2.4-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main)
@Benjamin Thanks. I still hope it can be accepted, as one bug is *very* critical at least for phatch. Otherwise I would not take the effort to push this bugfix release. -- Please sync phatch 0.2.4-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/452430 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 452430] Re: Please sync phatch 0.2.4-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main)
The */docs/* are shipped in the upstream tarball as source restructured text *.rst, which are converted by sphinx to *.html. Debian and Ubuntu ignore the shipped *.html files and use sphinx at build time to regenerate them from the source *.rst files. I don't know if this is a Debian policy, but besides as the upstream author I would also recommend it to ensure the html files are always up to date. (As a human being I might forget to update the html files before doing a release.) The diff we are seeing here affects only the */docs/build/html/* files, which are ignored by Debian/Ubuntu, but not the */docs/source/*.rst files which are used by Debian and Ubuntu. So this diff does not matter for Debian and Ubuntu at all. If you would be curious why the html changes and not the rst source files, this is because the html uses now a left navigation sidebar instead of a right navigation sidebar which affects the html code (but not the rst source). But again, this is of no value for Ubuntu. -- Please sync phatch 0.2.4-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/452430 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 445941] Re: Please sync phatch 0.2.2-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main)
@Benjamin: I'll probably release tomorrow phatch 0.2.3 (bugfix release) and piotr will upload it to debian As the 0.2.2 sync request did not happen yet, I guess it would be better to sync 0.2.3 instead to save some effort. -- Please sync phatch 0.2.2-1 (universe) from Debian Unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445941 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
