[Bug 1016181] Re: ath chip reset failed
I've got the same problems. I tried buying another USB adapter only to find that that one has another, equally annoying problem. If there's any information I can provide please let me know. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1016181 Title: ath chip reset failed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1016181/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 380972] [NEW] HL-2030 doesn't print anymore after upgrade to jaunty
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups Description:Ubuntu 9.04 Release:9.04 cups: Installed: 1.3.9-17ubuntu3 Candidate: 1.3.9-17ubuntu3 Version table: *** 1.3.9-17ubuntu3 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.3.9-17ubuntu1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages Since the upgrade i can't print anymore. When i try to print anything (e.g. testpage) the printer starts making the sounds it usually makes, i see the job in the queue, cups shows me that it's printing the job and after a few second it just stops as if it had printed it. I can't find anything in the cups error log. It looks like it printed succesfully. [Bug 380972] Re: HL-2030 doesn't print anymore after upgrade to jaunty
I tried to install the drivers from Brothers HP which didn't work. Using the packages and the link you provided i got it working flawlessly. [Bug 124895] Re: coreutils and debianutils dependency cycle on reinstall command
Rodolfos way works for me, thank you very much. Little howto: cd /var/cache/apt/archives sudo rm * sudo apt-get install libc # it'll fetch the debs and then exit with the error message sudo dpkg --force-depends --install libc6_2.8\~20080505-0ubuntu9_i386.deb findutils_4.4.0-2ubuntu3_i386.deb sudo apt-get -f install sudo apt-get dist-upgrade Shirish Agarwal try 'mount | grep -i nfs', if you get an output you have a nfs mount which is the problem.
