[Bug 1770595] Re: Invesalius crashes at startup @ Ubuntu 18.04

2019-01-11 Thread tfmoraes
Hi Renat, sorry I didn't see your comment. Your problem is because you
need to compile some cython files we use in InVesalius. You need to
enter in InVesalius source code then run:

$ python3 setup.py build_ext --inplace

Then you can use InVesalius.

I created a PPA to InVesalius, I think it's better to use the InVesalius
from there. https://launchpad.net/~tfmoraes/+archive/ubuntu/invesalius

2019-01-11 Thread tfmoraes
Hi Declan Moriarty, that is just a warning, that is not the source of
this problem. The problem is the VTK interface with WXPython3. Using VTK
with WXPython4 fix this problem. I create a PPA with this problem fixed.
Try the InVesalius from there

[Bug 1770595] Re: Invesalius crashes at startup @ Ubuntu 18.04

2018-05-11 Thread tfmoraes
Hi, InVesalius developer here.

I don' t know why it is happening yet. But if you use KDE as desktop
(maybe other too) InVesalius runs correctly. You can try to run
Invesalius by the code, it will run in Gnome. First, install wxPython4:

$ sudo apt install python-wxgtk4.0

Download the code from github https://github.com/invesalius/invesalius3
. In the terminal, enter in the invesalius3 folder, then:

$ export
PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/wxPython-4.0.1-py2.7-linux-amd64.egg
$ python app.py

When I have time, I'll upload a package of git invesalius version to the
ppa.

[Bug 1596989] Re: Non-functional due to VTK version incompatibility

2016-06-30 Thread tfmoraes
Hi,

I'm a developer of InVesalius. InVesalius is already running with VTK6.
I've updated the InVesalius package to this new version and uploaded it
to the Debian-med http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/debian-
med/trunk/packages/invesalius/trunk/ . I don't know if the update from
Debian-med to Ubuntu is automatic. If you have interest, I've uploaded
the updated package to this link https://we.tl/v4ijgul3zh

[Bug 663200] [NEW] Can't be able to hibernate using a swap file

2010-10-19 Thread tfmoraes
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: uswsusp

I used this tutorial http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1042946 to
be able to hibernate using a swap file because my notebook doesn't have
a swap partition, but I can't be able to do that. When I click on button
to hibernate in terminal is showed messages about writing RAM content in
the swap, but when I power on the notebook it starts to load but it
crashes, in terminal I see these messages:

resume: libgcrypt version: 1.4.4.5
Loading image data pages (197173 pages)... 100% done
Wrote 770.2 MB in 12.3 seconds (62.8 MB/s)

After that, nothing occurs, it crashes.

[Bug 663200] Re: Can't be able to hibernate using a swap file

2010-10-19 Thread tfmoraes
My notebook is a Compaq 510. The partition where the swapfile is located
is a ext4 and isn't encrypted. My /etc/uswsusp.conf:

# /etc/uswsusp.conf(8) -- Configuration file for s2disk/s2both
resume device = /dev/sda5
early writeout = y
image size = 965012111
RSA key file = /etc/uswsusp.key
shutdown method = shutdown
resume offset = 344064

I tried to set shutdown_method to platform, but the same occurs.

[Bug 553689] [NEW] Grub2 doesn't add Arch linux correctly in grub.cfg

2010-04-01 Thread tfmoraes
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub2

Along with Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits, I have been using Arch Linux. The problem is
that grub2 doesn't add the initrd field menu Arch menu entry to boot Arch, then
I have put manually. This is how grub2 add the Arch in menu entry:
menuentry Arch (on /dev/sda5) {
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,5)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 0e58ac73-c9a6-491b-bdcb-759fd8d5ec5f
linux /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/sda5
}

And this is how it should add:
menuentry Arch (on /dev/sda5) {
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,5)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 0e58ac73-c9a6-491b-bdcb-759fd8d5ec5f
linux /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/sda5
initrd /boot/kernel26.img
}

Other important information, I'm using Arch with ext4.

Thanks!

[Bug 408212] Re: [karmic] python2.6 crashed with SIGSEGV in glGetError()

2009-08-23 Thread tfmoraes
I posted a simpler python script. I tried to run the this script with
the last ubuntu 9.10 alpha version using a intel 965 and a nvidia 8600
GT with driver nv and the same error occurs. Then I tried with the
proprietary nvidia driver and the error doesn't occurs. I think the
error is in libgl1-mesa-glx. In Fedora 11 with mesa-7.6 version, this
doesn't occurs too.

[Bug 397605] Re: Not suspend or hibernate on PM965/GM965/GL960 in Ubuntu 9.04

2009-07-11 Thread tfmoraes
I think it is because the wireless driver (rtl8187). I disabled the
wireless and removed the driver with rmmod command, then I suspend and
it works. Furthermore I enabled the wireless and I tried to suspend, it
fails.

[Bug 177005] Re: Xorg freezes and the system doesn't response

2008-08-24 Thread tfmoraes
Yes, I tried with the last Ubuntu release and the bug continues, but I'm
not using the proprietary nvidia driver any longer, I'm using the nv
driver. In others distributions the same bug occurs. In arch linux I'm
using the nouveau driver.

2008-01-09 Thread tfmoraes
Hi, Leann

I think the bug is in the proprietary nvidia driver, if I use the nv
driver the bug doesn't occurs.
