[Bug 1290078] Re: OpenGL applications do not render properly, or at all

2014-03-14 Thread th3flyboy
Update: I have installed the newest Nvidia beta driver from Nvidia's web
site and the problem went away. In order for this to be fixed, the
newest beta Nvidia driver needs to be added to the repo. The newest
driver also includes a fix for a security vulnerability as well (no CVE
yet). Please add the newest Nvidia beta driver to the repos.

[Bug 421812] Re: Saitek X52 Pro not detected/detected as mouse

2011-01-06 Thread th3flyboy
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 300143 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300143

This is not a duplicate of 300143, and it is still happening in Maverick
with the latest kernel. Please incorporate this fix to allow for the
X52/Pro to be detected. I really don't want to have to build my own
kernels every kernel update in order to get my joystick to work.

[Bug 300143] Re: tablet devices show up as non-functional joysticks

2010-10-26 Thread th3flyboy
This is still causing issues with the X52 pro with 10.10 maverick and
the latest kernel. Could someone please fix this in Ubuntu's
repositories so that we don't have to recompile the kernel every update?

[Bug 574073] [NEW] Lack of LibYacc dev package causes compile errors on software

2010-05-02 Thread th3flyboy
Public bug reported:

Version 10.04

Because the Ubuntu repo lacks a dev build for libyacc (while there are
plenty of non dev yacc files in the repo), some code causes compile
errors because of missing header files from the libyacc dev files.
Please add the dev files (especially the headers) to the repo in order
to fix problems such as this.
