[Bug 994163] [NEW] Unity launcher shows internal partitions after they have been unmounted

2012-05-03 Thread thunk
Public bug reported:

Hello all,

Using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Package Unity 5.10.0-0ubuntu6

What happens:

When I mount an internal partition it shows up in the launcher. When I
unmount it, either through right-click from the launcher, or from inside
nautilus, the partition icon remains visible on the launcher.

What (I think) should happen:

Upon unmounting, the icon should dissapear from the launcher

As stated in the description, this occurs ONLY with internal partitions.

When unmounting a USB stick for example, it dissapears from the launcher
as expected.

Regards

[Bug 534097] [NEW] GNOME menu size needs to be consistent with other menus

2010-03-07 Thread thunk
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: light-themes

Hello,

The menu size in the new themes is huge and totally inconsistent with
the other menus, both on the panel as well as in applications. I think
this needs to be fixed for a visually appealing experience.

The trick I have always used to make these huge menus more compact is to
add to the theme's gtkrc the line:

gtk-icon-sizes = panel-menu=16,16

But that is a dirty hack..we need to make this more standard.

Regards

[Bug 508380] [NEW] Gnome power manager doesn't show battery tab

2010-01-16 Thread thunk
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Hello,

I'm using Lucid Alpha 2 on a Sony Vaio Laptop (VGN-NS21Z). Gnome 2.29.4

The Power Manager doesn't show the battery tab regardless of the state
of the battery (charging - discharging - removed etc)

I'm attaching a screenshot to show the problem.

Regards
