[Bug 1297286] Re: Wireless connection keeps disconnecting
just updated to Kernel 3.18 as described in the post above. After reboot I got disconnected again and a dialog with this error came popped up: (4) Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. uname -a did show the new kernel (though I wonder how I would keep up to date with this kernel regarding security bugs. I guess there would need be a backport for the last LTS, right? Do we know what exact part has changed? I have exact same experience on a Lenovo Notebook (6 years old and always running Ubuntu) with Nvidia proprietary graphics driver. With 12.04 it was perfectly fine. [Bug 295603] Re: konqueror crashing when choosing profile midnight commander
I confirm this bug and would appreciate a bug-fix. Eventually it is only the profile that must be newly created. -- konqueror crashing when choosing profile midnight commander https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295603 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 218722] Re: KDE Trash Bin panel applet shows Empty trash bin as disabled even when trash contains objects
Trashcan Widget in KDE 4.1 works fine for me with the one exeption, that when I chose to empty the Trashcan, the Icon is not changed to an empty trashcan. When I move one more/new item to the trash and than (in Dolphin) choose to restore it, the widget's icon is up to date now again (as empty). Seems as if that could have someting to do with the above mentioned issues... -- KDE Trash Bin panel applet shows Empty trash bin as disabled even when trash contains objects https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218722 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 179761] Hardy Alpha2: HP Deskjet F370 not Scanning i.e. with Kooka
Public bug reported: Version: Hardy Alpha2 LiveCD My Printer (HP Deskjet F370) was not automatically detected. When adding it via System Setting it prints the testpage quite o.k. When starting HPLIB-Toolbox and installing the same printer again, it says (with green/user:root) that the printer is idle. Directly above this it says (with red / user=ubuntu) Device communication error.. (quite similar to this bug 144974) Because the things shown green with root are o.k. i thought to add user ubuntu to the printer-group. But user Management does not work. (see separate Bugreport) After this I started Kooka to scan something, but there was only my tv-card selectable as scan device. PS: Installing XSane didn't change/help anything. PS: Just contact me if you like to have all PrintScreen I made during this test. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hardy Alpha2: HP Deskjet F370 not Scanning i.e. with Kooka https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179761 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
