[Bug 104771] Re: Nokia 770 is not automatically mounted when USB-cable is inserted

2007-04-13 Thread torb
No it is not.
However now (since no longer than a couple of days) my internal hdd shows up as
sda instead of hdc and the 770 gets sdb. fstab is not updated but everything
works anyway, is this a planned change? I wouldn't have noticed if you had not
pointed it out.

[Bug 104771] Re: Nokia 770 is not automatically mounted when USB-cable is inserted

2007-04-11 Thread torb
Here it is.

I happened to check /var/log/dmesg and it says:
[ 194.304284] EXT3 FS on sda3, internal journal
[ 194.561619] kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
[ 194.561860] EXT3 FS on sda1, internal journal
[ 194.561869] EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
[ 196.145052] NET: Registered protocol family 17
Could it be related? I have no usb-device with en ext3 filesystem.

Thanks for helping!

[Bug 104771] Nokia 770 is not automatically mounted when USB-cable is inserted

2007-04-09 Thread torb
Public bug reported:

When I connect my Nokia 770 to my computer via USB, it is not automatically
mounted.
sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media
works fine.

Other USB-disks work fine.

What can I do to help debug this?

This is what deamon.log tells me:

[Bug 60639] Re: Edgy know 2 - Installer does not detect disk partitions

2006-10-19 Thread torb
I have the same problem with the edgy RC on an ASUS L5800DF.

gparted shows the harddrive as unallocated space, as does the installer.

Is there any information about my system I can supply to help solve this
bug?

[Bug 59319] libgtk-jni depends on package libgcj7 but it has a new name

2006-09-07 Thread torb
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libgtk-jni

Discovered the bug when I tried to install Azureus.
The package libgtk-jni depends on libgcj7 but that package has changed name to
libgcj7-0, so the package won't install.

2006-08-22 Thread torb
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 57153 ***

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

After upgrading today, X fails to start, with the usual whine about not
finding any screens.

Will attach xorg.conf and lspci

I won't have access to this computer in about six months, but hope this
