[Bug 1366468] Re: 046d:0990 cannot set freq 16000 to exp 0x86-: Errors due to logitech Quickcam
Edit: disregard last post, turns out that a bad USB extension cable was at fault for generating those messages and now works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1366468 Title: 046d:0990 cannot set freq 16000 to exp 0x86-: Errors due to logitech Quickcam To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1366468/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1366468] Re: 046d:0990 cannot set freq 16000 to exp 0x86-: Errors due to logitech Quickcam
I cannot file a bug via ubuntu-bug linux, since I'm running a mainline kernel (4.6.3-040603-generic) to solve another issue related to USB 2/3 transition. [Bug 59867] Re: Synaptics touchpad ceases functioning after suspend and resume.
I wanted to comfirm that I had the touchpad/keyboard not working after suspend, running Ubuntu Saucy GNOME 13.10 Beta 1 updated on a Toshiba P50-ABT2G22 Haswell-based laptop. The trick of: Adding Grub parameter atkbd.reset worked for many. Set GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet splash atkbd.reset in /etc/default/grub, run 'sudo update-grub' and reboot. worked for me, and I can confirm both keyboard touchpad work after a suspend with this kernel parameter added. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59867 Title: Synaptics touchpad ceases functioning after suspend and resume. [Bug 1104476] Re: Network manager cannot connect to WPA2/PEAP/MSCHAPv2 network without CA_Certificate
I just wanted to say that comment #19 of removing system-ca-certs=true from /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections also worked for me. Actually, what I did was set the statement to false. When I re-started the connection, it worked on the next try. I also did a sudo chmod -w NUwave after the first time it connected, so that should avoid the statement from reappearing since now the file is read-only. Given the connection name, I'm at Northeastern University, which uses WPA2/PEAP/MSCHAP as well. The odd thing is that a few weeks back when I tested with an Ubuntu 13.04 Beta 2 USB stick it worked fine, but stopped working at some point, and I re-tested with the USB stick today and it still failed, so at that point I knew it wasn't anything package related and stumbled across this bug and solution which fixed it! :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1104476 Title: Network manager cannot connect to WPA2/PEAP/MSCHAPv2 network without CA_Certificate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1104476/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
