[Bug 63108] Re: LegacyHuman Theme has not been Cairo-ified
Agreed, the gtkrc file linked above should do it. I don't have a machine to test on right now. If others do, that would be appreciated. -- LegacyHuman Theme has not been Cairo-ified https://launchpad.net/bugs/63108 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 45192] Re: Buttons in Evolutions composing mail window are ugly
+1 This bug goes beyond the composition window and the icons will help many of Evolution's secondary interfaces. i.e. Calendar, Notes, Contacts, Tasks and Memos. [Bug 63119] Re: Human missing Trash, Network, Computer, Open Folder SVGs
It appears they have not been fixed yet. http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/network-screen.png http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/trash-screen.png http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/open-folder-screen.png http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/computer-screen.png I just noticed that the computer icon does not represent the new color of the wallpaper very well either. I guess it was done back in Breezy days with the dark brown color. If that would be considered a bug, it can be remedied with this in one go by updating the original SVG, if one exists. -- Human missing Trash, Network, Computer, Open Folder SVGs https://launchpad.net/bugs/63119 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 63114] Re: Human progress bar shading does not line up properly
Well, it's not implemented yet but then I don't honestly know what work has been submitted. For reference purposes I'll quote Richard's original post to the ubuntu-art list on this topic. I hope he doesn't mind but it might prove useful before we go further with this. --- Hi guys and gals, A few days ago Benjamin Otte (Company) sent me a nice patch for ubuntulooks, which slightly changes the appearance of the progressbars in Ubuntulooks. The current progressbar renders squared (width=height) cells, resulting in a partially rendered cell at the end of the bar when the bar's width is not a multiply of a cell's width. Benjamin's patch calculates a sensible width for each cell, so that the bar contains only complete cells. The number of cells also varies depending on the width. An example screenshot is located here: http://www.stellingwerff.com/ubuntulooks/pb1.png . My plan is to get this into edgy. I hope you guys like it. Kind regards, Richard Stellingwerff. -- Human progress bar shading does not line up properly https://launchpad.net/bugs/63114 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 61530] Re: Shutdown sound is truncated
I can't argue with that. I don't think that the majority of machines are going to shut down that fast though. On a 1.4 ghz p4 I have it still takes over 20 seconds to shutdown and the entire logout sound plays before leaving me staring at a blank screen for 5 or 10 seconds. Only then do the speakers pop and the screen shut off completely. -- Shutdown sound is truncated https://launchpad.net/bugs/61530 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 61530] Re: Shutdown sound is truncated
While I love a quick shutdown I wonder if it's possible to find an optimal shutdown time instead of just as fast as possible. We may not be there yet but if we could manage the shutdown time and, for the sake of argument, make it near 10 seconds on any machine, and 4 of those were listening to a nice chime at least I would be happier than with 6 'more' seconds of silence(except for the inevitable quiet pop). ** The numbers above have been arbitrarily inserted. -- Shutdown sound is truncated https://launchpad.net/bugs/61530 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 63108] LegacyHuman Theme has not been Cairo-ified
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork The LegacyHuman theme is not as clean as it was in Dapper or Breezy anymore. Now it has a light colored line between the titlebar and the gtk+ theme on all unselected windows. I'm pretty sure the reason is the original LegacyHuman theme was made for clearlooks engine before clearlooks switched to Cairo hence a few settings in the non-cairo theme are missing. Probably just need to re- port LegacyHuman from the latest clearlooks theme to fix this. Note: moving to Cairo made the otherwise fast clearlooks engine perform quite a bit slower which affects legacyhuman. Not sure what can be done about this though. [Bug 54854] Re: Gray theme is not displayed correctly
I can confirm this. For some reason we are missing the engine for Gray's gtk+ theme. Maybe Andrea Cimitan can assist with this as he wrote the theme and if I remember correctly the engine too. [Bug 63114] Human progress bar shading does not line up properly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork Admitidly this is a minor bug, but it's also one that has already been addressed by Richard Stellingwerf on the 8th of September when he submitted a new design for the progressbar in human. I've posted a screenshot of the current Edgy knot3 progressbar with the issue here: http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/expanded-progressbar-orig.png And the updated version from Richard here: http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/expanded-screenshot-pb1.png Notice how the orange fill and the shading on the glass tube are lined up on the updated version while they are way off on the first. Much nicer IMO. ** Affects: ubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Human progress bar shading does not line up properly https://launchpad.net/bugs/63114 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 63119] Human missing Trash, Network, Computer, Open Folder SVGs
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork As the title states, the Human icon theme in Edgy knot3 is still not showing a few key SVG icons (although many ARE in the Human/scalable directory). I have noticed the Trash, Trash Full, Network, Computer, Open Folder and CD/DVD icons do not show up in the information panel when using nautilus. Note: It's quite possible that all of these icons exist and just need symlinks created in the correct locations.
