As Salamu Alaikum @mamoor @others I have a lenovo Z500 and you may have a problem with any installation other than windows. All these new laptops come with secure boot which refuse any install even on VM's. Only way to bypass that is to turn it off in the BIOS. Of Course if your pc doesn't have it then ignore this message.
