Not if you do not compile your own kernel. Fix committed, here means it was added to the git repo. When the next official kernel is build this should go into fix released and then it can be downloaded. The current kernel version is 3.5.0-15.23. Ok, seems that the problem is somewhere in the radeon driver in the kernel as installing a 3.2 kernel would boot with usable graphics.
