Public bug reported: I was looking for lm-sensors in the software center. Type 'lm' (without the quotes) in the searchbar and I only get LMemory, LMarbles and Linux Magazine Ausgabe 9/2012 (Deutsch). I would expect anything starting with 'lm'.
Type 'lm-' (without the quotes) and I get 5 entries (including lm- sensors). wim@i3-2120:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release: 12.04 wim@i3-2120:~$ uname -a Linux i3-2120 3.2.0-30-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 24 16:52:48 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux wim@i3-2120:~$ apt-cache policy software-center software-center: Installed: 5.2.5 Candidate: 5.2.5 Version table: *** 5.2.5 0 500 http://za.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 5.2 0 500 http://za.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages wim@i3-2120:~$ ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1051164 Title: search does not find expected results To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1051164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
