This /bug/ might just be a translation issue. Well is it color or colour (for instance in the appearance panel of Configure Amarok)? Ubuntu has Canadian English too, en_CA. A quick look through Amarok PO file in en_CA shows that the translator mishandled the context in messages. I just noticed that there's also malformed text when you right click on a track in the playlist. I can confirm. There seems to be a few string formatting errors (for instance, on the player window the sample rate isn't shown). I can confirm. I've had this problem for a while - in Kubuntu edgy and now feisty. Its only when playing music however.
