If you can reproduce the crash, please try installing the kdebase-dbg package and post the full debug backtrace here - or better yet at http://bugs.kde.org/ (upstream) and link there from here. Maybe because I can do whatever after minimizing my windows and kwin crashes. Run a new application or click again icon show desktop. I agree with rebegin about doing it after upgrade to Feisty. Confirming this for my Feisty on a Thinkpad Z61m. I didn't find a pattern yet, but it crashes often! The launchpad bugreport tool is never started for this bug.. thats why i only report it now. What can I do to help to solve this problem? I tried it several times. Mostly it crashes. I do it to see my conky, so I killed conky and tried once more and kwin crashed. It is enough when I minimize all windows (win+tab) a do it once again. I can confirm this bug.
