Public bug reported:

My iMac worked fine under 12.10 (with NVIDIA driver I believe, but not sure),
then I did the upgrade to 12.10. On reboot, X said that the graphics are not
detected correctly. I chose to reset the graphics and rebooted from tty1 that
worked, but bad resolution. This time, it started up, but Unity was not loaded.
Also bad screen resolution. I killed x with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and came to the
lightdm login screen (bad resolution too). LXDE and Gnome Classic both work,
but not Unity. All of them have the same bad resolution.
I can't find any place where I could install proprietary driver like I did in
12.04. For some reason, there's an AMD Catalyst Control Center, but when I fire
it up, it says there's no driver installed.
How do I get my screen fixed?
