Public bug reported:

This is an older Lenovo x201 running quantal. It suspends and resumes
nicely most of the time, but every 5th or so attempt, maybe more, it
seems to lock up completely and is unable to resume. This forces me to
power cycle the machine.

I have been unable to reproduce this by running the suspend/resume tests
in checkbox (using either the sleep_test script or fwts). It always
happens at some point when I close the lid then open it. There seems to
be no time limit either on how long the lid is closed.

It happened to me a few times during UDS when I'd close the lid just to
walk between sessions. It happened to me again this morning when I
closed the lid last night before going to bed, and opened it this AM to
check my mail.

I am not positive, but I think having power connected may also be a
contributing factor. in this instance, it was plugged in. At UDS, I
may well have closed the lid BEFORE removing power at the end of a
session.
