Re: [Bug 1076985] Re: Don't work in the menu the list

2012-11-10 Thread impierims
Thank you for your answer, but I'm not using more Unity because went always in
crash.
I'm using gnome with the old menu. I'm attaching two photos so you can see the
problem
in the right side of the screen. Do you see that isn't more the calendar, the
bottom to
switch off the computer? The menu for the internet and the account etc...
To switch off I must to use always Ctrl+Alt+Canc or if don't work to shut down
the power!
Thank you for your attention!

[Bug 1076985] Re: Don't work in the menu the list

2012-11-10 Thread RaduStoica
Hello,

This seems like a problem with Unity, the Ubuntu window manager. Try
reinstalling it.

To do this:

- Open a terminal: Dash -> search for terminal -> open Terminal
- In the terminal window, run: sudo apt-get install --reinstall
ubuntu-desktop
- You will be asked for your password.

Restart after that. This will not delete any settings or personal data
and maybe it will reset the indicator displays.
