The reason for the crash is probably the same as for bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libx11/+bug/107732 . Installing Opera 9.20 from the Opera website should fix that. Installation of Opera from the edgy-commercial (6.10) repository is not possible at the moment due to dependency problems.
