[Bug 1086847] Re: mutt (libtokyocabinet8) crashes when fetching IMAP-headers
In 1.5.21-6.4ubuntu2.1, if you edit debian/rules, and change HCACHE_DB to from tokyocabinet to anything else (be that bdb, gdbm or qdbm), rebuild the package and install the new package, the crash goes away. This is almost certainly a bug in libtokyocabinet. Note that I also had to add --enable-external-dotlock to the configure switches for some reason, otherwise the package doesn't build, at least with mutt 1.5.21-6.4ubuntu2.1. in Ubuntu 12.10 compiling mutt with $./configure --enable-imap --enable-hcache --with-bdb --without- tokyocabinet --with-included-gettext --sysconfdir=/etc --with-ssl --with-gnutls works well. Also charctersets are working well. Works also unter linux Mint 12. libncursesw5-dev was missing.
