Here is another problem I had today: For some reason wireless would not connect to my network. So before restarting I first tried to disable networking and then enable it. When I did this, the only thing that was available after I enabled networking back was wired network. There was no wireless at all. I don't know if there was some kind of update that I've installed recently but jut now I was able to switch from wireless back to wired network. I was on the wired today, then switched to wireless and unplugged the cable. Few hours later came back and plugged the cable back in. Tried to switch back to wired network and it worked.
