It seems that this Bug doesn't appear anymore in Gutsy Gibbon. Marking fixed release as it isn't in the 3.5.7. For Feisty users, if you follow the easy instructions at http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde-357.php you can update to 3.5.7 which fixes this bug. The Kubuntu.org repository is the lead Kubuntu developer, Jonathan Riddell's repo. The reason he puts it there is it makes it easier for people to get the latest as it would be a very difficult job to get this in as a stable release update and that takes a while for them to audit, so him providing it this way gets it out to you right away. I downloaded the Kubuntu 7.04 LiveCD to test it for the english localization and to have a clean unconfigured system. And the Bug is still there, you can say it works out-of-the-box Maybe you are yousing KDE 3.5.7 with the packages from jonathan riddle?
