The 3.8.0-13 kernel was rebased to upstream v3.8.3. I'd like to see if that is where this regression was introduced. Can you test the following kernels and report back: v3.8.2: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.2-raring/ v3.8.3: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.3-raring/ I'll start a bisect between these two releases if v3.8.3 introduced the regression.
