Can you install the package from our PPA and see if the bug persists? sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freyja-dev/unity-tweak-tool-daily sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool ( You do not need to uninstall the existing one. If you have a version from the archives already installed, it will be automatically upgraded. ) I believe the bug has been fixed in the version in the PPA.
