Public bug reported: After upgrade to adobe-flashplugin 11.2.202.280 Amazon Prime streaming video player opens with notice that flashplayer or browser needs to be updated.
I placed a copy of libflashplugin.so version 11.2.202.275 (found at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source....275-0quantal1 ) in ~/.mozilla/plugins and Chromium browser finds and uses this plugin. Amazon video works with this older plugin. Other streaming without drm works with the newer plugin, but not Amazon prime. ** Affects: adobe-flashplugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1168843 Title: adobe-flashplugin 11.2.202.280 doesn't work with Amazon streaming video To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/adobe-flashplugin/+bug/1168843/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
